Nashville Metro Police Arrest Man Posing as Parking Lot Attendant

Metro police officers in downtown Nashville have apprehended a man posing as a parking attendant and handing out fake parking tickets on order to scam people into paying him.

 

Best criminal lawyer in Nashville TennesseeLarrie Carroll, age 58, was arrested at the Premier Parking lot at 116 2nd Ave. S after approaching a white Lexus and placing what appeared to be a parking ticket on the car’s window.

 

When the driver asked Carroll how much it cost to park there, Carroll responded, “$20.”  Police approached the two as the driver was in the process of paying.

 

Carroll has been previously arrested for a similar attempt, and police found a crack pipe and more fake parking tickets in his pockets.

 

He was arrested on charges of criminal simulation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trespassing, and is currently being held on $20,000 bond.
